“…In New Orleans, recovery has been spotty at best. The historic French Quarter and neighborhoods close to the Mississippi River did not flood and have bounced back fairly well. The city’s population has reached an estimated 277,000, about 60 percent its pre-storm level of 455,000. We’re with you guys, hope this city is all back into fully recovered state and running well!

Thanks Oleg - It’s nice to hear your thoughts on a momentous day like this. There is a lot of work to do, but there is a lot that has gotten better in the last 2 years. Most of all, this is a City of hope and optimism.

Come visit us ya’ll.

I was just down in mississippi not to long ago, and it looks the exact same is it did right after. They’ve done a lot of work so far, but there is still a lot more to do.
